I am a Ph.D. student at Kitakyushu University Graduate School, conducting research under the supervision of Prof. Kazuo Sakurai.".

"Taknao-shin", people call me like this, because people call our family name first in Japan. No wonder I am so attached to nucleic acids, anticancer drugs, and various reagents.

Starting from the academic year 2023, I became a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Research Fellow (DC2).
This webpage was created as part of my hobby, my specialty is not IT, it is chemistry and engineering. Anyway, I love science including IT.

Hobby & Talent

1. Progrmming: I am using Python and HTML and recently I have been utilizing ChatGPT to create code. I am still learning and improving my skills. (see: GitHub)

2. Creating 3D illustration: I create science illustrations using Blender for 3D illustrations. Using Cluster service, I made my 3DCG world. In the world, we can talk with and you can see some my scientific 3D arts. (visit 3D world)

3. Studying about Harry Potter: I am a big fan of Harry Potter. Recentry, I am currently reading them while researching the differences between them and the movies.

4. Watching cats' YouTube videos: My recommended cat is Mochimaru from the YouTube channel "Mochimaru Diary". Please check it out!

My reserch

1. Polymer synthesis: My research uses controlled radical polymerization to synthesize polymeric nanoparticles such as molecular bottle brushes. We mainly use polyelectrolytes and biopolymers.

2. Charactrizaton of nanoparticles: I study nanoparticle structures by electron microscopy and small-angle X-ray scattering measurements using SPring-8, a large synchrotron radiation facility.

3. Drug delivery system: In my research, I am evaluating in vitro and in vivo whether the nanoparticles I have created are useful as carriers for small molecule and nucleic acid drugs.

The first visit to US.

In New York, I visited the New York univ. and discuss with prof. Iwao Teraoka. After that, I head to NC state univ. to join the 97th ACS coll conference.

I joined the SPSJ annual meeting in Gunma.
